A Lagos based Prophetess, Mary Oluwaseye Yomi Sholoye, the founder of The New Seraph Church and a member of Christain Association of Nigeria (CAN) will pass as a true woman of God going by the number of followers she has garnered over the years and her booming ministry which is believed to be the end to every problem in life. But, beyond the simple spiritual righteous looks, lies a woman whose ways has questioned her Christian faith as multi million naira appointment scam now queries her relationship with God.
In a chat with newsmen, Abuja based socilalte, Halimat Adenike Tejuosho said, Prophetess Mary Olueaseye, the self aclaimed woman of God, told her she saw a vision for her, that one Gidado under the cover being an agent of the government has all the contacts that could unbutton a way for her to secure federal government appointment. Sadly she believed the woman of God, hook, line and sinker but unfortunately, that prophesy never saw the light of the day, rather it led to financial scam of unpredictable nature. Halimat confessed that she can’t really know how she fell so flat to the scam, suggesting she must have been hypnotized in the process, pointing accusing fingers to the woman of God
The church founder, Prophetess Oluwaseye even went ahead to give a date the prophesy will materialize. The prophesy was that, the said Gidado has been anointed by God to help Halimat Adenike Tejuosho get a big appointment in the government of day. However, the events of the past one year has proven her prophesy as not only false but self-serving appointment prediction that was never fulfilled rather it opened up a lid that led to fraudulent activities linked to her prophesy as millions of dollars were wasted in a vain belief.
The acclaimed woman of God is also entangled with the allegations of introducing some of her clients/victims to multiple “Babalawos” for ritual purposes, including Halimat Adenike Tejuosho, where a lot of money was lost in the process.
