Traditional rulers in Bende South (Ikwuisii) have rallied behind the 2027 Labour Party candidate for the Bende Federal Constituency, Dr. Chima Desmond Anyaso, charging him to remain committed to promoting unity, peace, and the collective development of Bende.

The royal fathers gave the charge during a courtesy visit by Dr. Anyaso, where they offered prayers and fatherly counsel, stressing that the unity of Bende must remain paramount and urging all sons and daughters of the area to place the common good above personal interests.

The monarchs commended the spirit of consultation and engagement demonstrated by the Labour Party standard-bearer, while praying for God’s wisdom, protection, and guidance upon him as he continues his political consultations ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Responding, Dr. Anyaso expressed profound appreciation for the warm reception accorded him by the traditional rulers and the Ugoezes, describing the meeting as a deeply humbling and inspiring experience.

He said the prayers, blessings, and words of wisdom from the royal fathers would remain a source of encouragement, assuring them that he would continue to uphold the values of humility, integrity, and selfless service in his pursuit of leadership.

Dr. Anyaso reaffirmed his commitment to the unity and progress of Bende, pledging to work with all stakeholders to build a constituency where peace, inclusiveness, and sustainable development thrive.
