Abia State has emerged third nationwide in the membership registration exercise of the City Boy Movement, a political support group aligned with the All Progressives Congress (APC), recording an impressive 337,720 registered members ahead of the 2027 general elections.
According to membership statistics circulating online, the City Boy Movement, which supports President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s political agenda, has recorded a total of 4,708,635 members across Nigeria.
The figures place the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in first position with 830,993 registered members, followed by Kano State with 496,494 members, while Abia State occupies the third position with 337,720 registrations.
Delta State follows in fourth position with 246,122 members, while Lagos, Oyo, Benue and Adamawa complete the list of the eight leading states.
The statistics further indicate that 24 states have recorded at least 50,000 members each, while 13 states remain below the 50,000 mark.
Abia’s impressive ranking has attracted attention.
The development could suggest growing political mobilisation by the City Boy Movement in Abia State as political activities gradually intensify ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The City Boy Movement is a pro-APC political support organisation mobilising grassroots support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his administration.
