Senator Austin Akobundu has reiterated his commitment to continue investing in the all-round development of children of Abia Central Senatorial District and beyond in order to secure their future.

Akobundu stated this today in his congratulatory message to children of the senatorial district and beyond on the occasion of Children’s Day celebration.
Recounting his commitments in securing their future, the senator said he has not relented in providing scholarships, training, and empowerment for them.
Such training and empowerment includes his sponsorship of free training for over 400 secondary school students of Abia Central Senatorial District on embedded systems engineering, robotics, and AI. This he said was to rouse their interest and prepare them adequately for a future driven by engineering, robotics, and artificial intelligence.
He also highlighted his scholarship programmes from which several children have benefitted.
While affirming his pledge to continue to partner with parents/guardians and other relevant stakeholders on improving the welfare of children, Senator Austin Akobundu urged parents/guardians not to relent in playing their part for their overall wellbeing.
