In a demonstration of humility in victory, former Vice President of Nigeria and Presidential flagbearer of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, GCON, earlier today led Senator Austin Akobundu (Abia Central), Senator Aminu Tambuwal (Sokoto South) and other party chieftains on a solidarity visit to a former governor of Rivers State and presidential aspirant in the just concluded ADC primaries, Rt Hon. Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi in his Abuja residence.

The visit, which signifies ADC’s strong bond of brotherhood, unity, and peace, came shortly after Alhaji Atiku Abubakar was announced winner of the keenly contested primaries where Rotimi Amaechi came second.
The meeting of the ADC leaders held in a cordial and convivial atmosphere, indicating that the party would go into the 2027 general elections as one strong and united party.
