The Accord Party candidate for Bende Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections, Comrade Ibeabuchi Kalu, has announced his decision to step down from his aspiration and identify with Dr. Chima Anyaso’s campaign, citing the need to support a common political direction.
Comrade Kalu made this known on Monday November 2nd 2026 when he visited the Chima Anyaso Campaign Office to formally identify with the Campaign Council.
During the visit, the Accord Party candidate said his decision was influenced by the calibre of individuals involved in Dr. Anyaso’s campaign and his conviction that collective efforts could strengthen the political engagement ahead of the 2027 elections.
“One of the things that motivated me to take this decision is the calibre of men and women here,” Kalu stated.
He further expressed confidence in Dr. Anyaso’s aspiration to represent Bende Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives.
“By God’s mercy, come 2027, this is the man that will tower in the House of Representatives representing Bende Federal Constituency,” he said.
The Director-General of the Campaign Council, Pastor Dike Okechukwu; Chairman of the Advisory Board, Ezeogo Emeka Onuoha; and other directors were present during the meeting.
The visit marks a new development in the political engagements surrounding the 2027 Bende Federal Constituency race, as Comrade Ibeabuchi Kalu formally aligns with Dr. Chima Anyaso’s campaign organisation.
