The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has issued a clarification on the approved dress code for candidates scheduled to participate in the oral interview stage of its ongoing 2024/2025 recruitment exercise.
The Board said the oral interview is scheduled to commence on September 7, 2026, adding that the latest clarification supersedes an earlier notice following enquiries from candidates regarding acceptable attire.
According to the statement signed by Okeh Juliet (Mrs), Head of Press and Public Relations for the Secretary to the Board, candidates are required to appear in the following:
- White T-shirt, with either short or long sleeves. Long sleeves are optional for female candidates.
- White shorts or white long trousers. Long trousers are optional for female candidates.
- White sneakers and white socks.
- Headscarf, which is optional for female candidates.
The Board advised all candidates to strictly comply with the prescribed dress code, warning that anyone who fails to do so will not be granted access to the interview venue.
The CDCFIB further wished all candidates success in the oral interview and urged them to make adequate preparations ahead of the exercise.
