Minister of Defence, General Christopher Gwabin Musa, has made strong allegations against former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, accusing him of deliberately planning the killing of Nigerians.
Musa made the allegations while appearing on Channels Television’s Politics Today, where he expressed his disapproval of El-Rufai and said those responsible for actions that allegedly led to the loss of lives could not expect the support or goodwill of affected Nigerians.
“We can never be happy with somebody who has deliberately planned for the killing of our people,” Musa said.
The Defence Minister also expressed confidence in the political fortunes of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna State, declaring that the party would emerge victorious in the state.
“APC will win in Kaduna,” Musa stated.
Speaking on the country’s security situation, the minister further maintained that there had been noticeable improvements in national security, although he acknowledged the need for continued efforts to address security challenges across the country.
“There’s an improved security in the country,” Musa said during the programme.
