The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Ukwa East/West Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections, Chief Samuel Okezie Nwogu, has donated a Toyota Sienna to the Asa Liberation Movement (ALM) to support its campaign logistics.

Nwogu fulfilled the pledge today, 29th October 2026, during the official handover of the vehicle to the movement’s executive members at his residence in Owaza, Ukwa West Local Government Area of Abia State.

The donation followed the movement’s endorsement of Nwogu on October 28, 2026, at Obibor, Obuzor Asa, the country home of its acting president, Mr Charles Ehiemere.

Speaking during the handover, Chief Nwogu said the donation was in fulfilment of his promise to the association and intended to ease its logistical challenges during the campaign season.

He thanked the ALM leadership for its support and expressed appreciation for the movement’s commitment to his political aspiration. He also solicited their more support to ensure his political victory.

“Be my ambassador, carry my campaign to all the villages in Ukwa, tell them what I have achieved and what I will do for our people if elected. I am action oriented and not a noise maker” Chief Nwogu said.

In his response, Ehiemere commended Nwogu for fulfilling his pledge, describing the gesture as timely support for the movement’s activities.

He assured the APC candidate that the association would deploy the vehicle to support its campaign activities across Asa and Ndoki communities.

“We will pay you back by ensuring that the nooks and crannies of Asa and Ndoki hear Chief Samuel Okezie Nwogu’s victory message. We will use this vehicle to assist in campaigning for your victory,” Ehiemere said.

The event featured the formal presentation of the vehicle keys to the ALM president and a group photograph involving the participants.

The donation strengthens Nwogu’s engagement with the movement ahead of the 2027 elections, following its endorsement of his candidacy.
