Bestman Eruba, popularly known as Ogele Obingwa, has emerged as the candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) for the Abia South Senatorial District in the 2027 National Assembly elections.

Eruba secured the party’s ticket following the YPP senatorial primary election, positioning himself as one of the contenders in what is expected to be a keenly contested race for the Abia South Senate seat.
Speaking after his emergence, the YPP candidate expressed appreciation to party members and delegates for the confidence reposed in him. He pledged to run an issue-based campaign focused on the needs and aspirations of the people of Abia South.
