Former Vice President of Nigeria and ADC’s presidential flagbearer at the forthcoming 2027 general elections, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar on Sunday led Senators Austin Akobundu, Aminu Tambuwal, Ben Obi, Dino Melaye, former minister of police affairs, Alhaji Adamu Maina Waziri, ADC Deputy Chairman (North), Hajiya Naja’atu Muhammed, and the party’s governorship candidate in Lagos, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, on a solidarity visit to Mohammed Hayatu-Deen who was an aspirant in the recently concluded presidential primary election of ADC.

The meeting, which further reflects Atiku’s humility in triumph, was held in an atmosphere of camaraderie and sportsmanship. Mohammed Hayatu-Deen was gracious to his guests and treated them not as rivals but as colleagues with the singular vision of rescuing Nigeria from her current woes.

This visit and the earlier one to Rt Hon. Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi firmly places ADC as a formidable and united party going into the 2027 general elections.

Also striking is Atiku’s entourage, which reflects the nation’s diversity and his pan-Nigerian and detribalised nature, attributes that have always been his hallmark.
