Nigeria’s Ambassador to Cote D’Ivoire, Nwaobiala Ezenwa Chukwuemeka yesterday, 18th June 2026, presented his letter of credence to the President of the country, Alessandro Ouattara, in Abidjan.
The presentation was done alongside five other new ambassadors to Cote D’Ivoire from Morocco, Portugal, Finland, and the Philippines.
Chukwuemeka expressed his commitment to further deepen bilateral relations between Nigeria and Cote D’Ivoire while working to ensure that both countries maximise the benefits of such relations for the greater benefits of their countries and people.
While thanking President Tinubu for the appointment, Amb. Nwaobiala Ezenwa Chukwuemeka, an indigene of Umuahia North LGA in Abia State, also acknowledged the support and cooperation which Senator Austin Akobundu gave him during the screening exercise of nominated ambassadors in the senate.
Highlights of the presentation of letter of credence in Abidjan included a meeting and photo ops with the country’s president and a brief ceremonial parade by the military.
