Leaders and critical stakeholders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Abia State converged on the residence of Sir Chikwe Udensi in a strategic meeting aimed at strengthening the party structure and charting a united pathway forward ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Among those present at the high-level meeting were the leader of the party in the state, Distinguished Senator Austin Akobundu, the Abia State Chairman-Elect of the party, Barr. Kalu Kalu Agu, Chief Ikechi Emenike, Hon. Nnenna Ukeje, the National Welfare Secretary of the party, Nkem Ukamadu, Prof. Onyi Nwagbara, Sir Chikwe Udensi, alongside other key leaders and stakeholders of the ADC in the state.
Deliberations focused on party unity, grassroots mobilization, strengthening internal structures, and positioning the ADC as a formidable political force capable of providing purposeful leadership and credible governance for the people of Abia State and Nigeria at large.
The leaders unanimously reaffirmed that the ADC in Abia State remains intact, united, focused, and committed to building a strong alternative platform that will resonate with the aspirations of the people. They emphasized that the party is steadily growing in strength and acceptance across the state and beyond.
The stakeholders expressed confidence that the ADC is well-positioned to emerge victorious in the 2027 elections, stressing that the party’s vision, leadership, and people-oriented ideology continue to attract progressive-minded Nigerians seeking genuine change and national rebirth.
The meeting ended with a renewed commitment among party leaders to work collectively, deepen consultations across all levels, and consolidate the party’s structures in preparation for the tasks ahead.
