The Ugwunagbo football community in Abia State has thrown its weight behind Dr. Kasarachi Michael Enyinna, the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) senatorial candidate for Abia South, ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The football community adopted Enyinna as its preferred youthful candidate, describing him as a young, vibrant and development-focused leader capable of providing effective representation for the people of Abia South.
The group said its decision was based on its confidence in Enyinna’s leadership capacity and his ability to champion initiatives that would positively impact the people, particularly the youth.
The endorsement is expected to further strengthen Enyinna’s growing grassroots support across the six local government areas that make up Abia South Senatorial District.
With the 2027 elections drawing closer, political activities have continued to intensify across Abia South, as candidates and support groups engage communities and mobilise support at the grassroots.
The Ugwunagbo football community’s endorsement adds to the growing list of groups expressing support for Enyinna’s senatorial ambition, positioning him as a candidate seeking to appeal strongly to the youthful population of the district.
