Today in Akwete, Ukwa East LGA of Abia State, the NDC Senatorial Candidate for Abia South Senatorial District, Dr. Kasarachi Michael Enyinna, commenced consultations with party stakeholders and executives in Ukwa East.
Dr. Enyinna met with the NDC Ward, Local Government, Zonal and State executives as part of his ongoing consultations ahead of the 2027 general election.
The strategic meeting was held at the residence of Rt. Hon. Uzoma Abonta, a former member of the House of Representatives who represented the Ukwa West/Ukwa East Federal Constituency in the Green Chamber.
Addressing the party executives, Dr. Kasarachi Michael Enyinna said his decision to contest the Abia South Senatorial seat was driven by a desire to change the narrative, provide effective representation and bring the much-desired dividends of democracy closer to the people.
He emphasized the need for purposeful leadership, genuine representation and a renewed commitment to the development of Abia South.
In his remarks, Rt. Hon. Uzoma Abonta described Dr. Enyinna as a dedicated and committed individual whose achievements were built through hard work, perseverance and determination.
He urged party members, stakeholders and supporters to rally behind Dr. Enyinna’s candidacy, stressing the importance of supporting a candidate with the capacity and commitment to represent the people effectively.
Responding individually, the NDC executives expressed their appreciation for the consultation and pledged their support for the candidacy of Dr. Kasarachi Michael Enyinna as the party’s Senatorial Candidate for Abia South.
The consultation marks another significant step in the NDC’s preparations for the 2027 Abia South Senatorial election, as Dr. Enyinna continues to engage party leaders, stakeholders and grassroots members across the district.
