President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has commended Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, for his maturity and respect for elders during the intervention in the political crisis that rocked the state.
Tinubu made the remarks while speaking at the APC presidential campaign rally in Rivers State, where he recalled his intervention in the political disagreement, which he described as a misunderstanding within a family.
The President specifically thanked Fubara for his understanding and willingness to respect the wisdom of elders during the reconciliation process.
Addressing the governor, Tinubu assured him that he would not regret his decision to cooperate with the intervention.
“Fubara, you will not regret what you have done as long as we’re alive,” Tinubu declared.
