The Senatorial Candidate of the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC) for Abia South Senatorial District in the 2027 general election, Dr. Kasarachi Michael Enyinnaya, has constituted his campaign directorate and appointed key officials to oversee the campaign ahead of the election.

In a list made available to newsmen, Barrister Oscar Okoro, Esq. was appointed Secretary of the Campaign Directorate, while Maxwell Odor was named Zonal Campaign Coordinator.

The campaign structure also includes Lt. Col. Nkem Uduma (Rtd.) as Head of Security and Logistics, while Mrs. Uloma Cherish Dimoji will serve as Women Leader.

Other appointments include Chinemere, popularly known as Spirit, as Deputy in charge of Contact and Mobilization; Dr. Dominic as Special Adviser on Health; and Engr. Rt. Hon. Solomon Adaelu as Strategy Adviser.

The campaign directorate also named area and zonal coordinators to strengthen grassroots mobilisation across Abia South Senatorial District.

Those listed include:

– Hon. Chief Ikechukwu Emenike — Aba South & Aba North, with Evangelist Amah as Deputy.
– Mr. Ubi Ekeke — Ukwa East, with Ambassador Samuel as Deputy.
– Ukwa West, with Dike Kanu as Deputy.
– Austine MBA — Aba North, with Engineer Eijke as Deputy.
– Chief Egwefu Nwaolu — Obingwa, with Iheanyi Chukwu Iheanacho as Deputy.
– Chief Zacheus Chibuzor — Ugwunagbo LGA, with Chief Chiaghalam as Deputy.

According to the campaign directorate, all appointed officials, coordinators, advisers and deputies are expected to work collaboratively to ensure effective campaign coordination, grassroots mobilisation, communication, strategy, health support, security, logistics and engagement across their respective areas.

The directorate further stated that coordinators and their deputies are responsible for maintaining effective communication and providing regular updates on campaign activities within their assigned areas.

The campaign leadership urged all appointees to demonstrate commitment, teamwork, discipline and effective coordination in carrying out their respective responsibilities as the 2027 election approaches.
