The Chima Anyaso Campaign Organization (CACO) has appointed Hon. Promise Uzoma Okoro, ANIPR, as its Director of Media and Publicity, while Chief Mrs. Stella Okorie has been named Director of Women Mobilization ahead of the commencement of campaigns for the 2027 Bende Federal Constituency election.

The appointments, contained in separate letters dated July 28, 2026, were approved by the Labour Party candidate for Bende Federal Constituency, Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso (OFUJI).

In his letter to Okoro, Anyaso said the appointment followed extensive consultations and was based on his recognition of Okoro’s media expertise, experience and commitment to the vision of a better Bende Federal Constituency.

As Director of Media and Publicity, Okoro is expected to provide leadership, coordination and strategic direction for the campaign’s media and publicity activities.

His responsibilities will include coordinating media engagements, developing and implementing communication strategies, managing publicity materials, promoting the campaign’s vision and activities, coordinating public information, and ensuring consistency, accuracy and effectiveness across its communication channels.

Okoro is a trained journalist, blogger, media and public relations practitioner, and university lecturer. He is also Chairman of the Online Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria (OMPAN), Abia State Chapter, and Public Relations Officer of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Abia State Chapter.

In a separate appointment, Chief Mrs. Stella Okorie was named Director of Women Mobilization of the Chima Anyaso Campaign Organization.

According to her appointment letter, Okorie will provide overall leadership, coordination and strategic direction for the women’s directorate, ensuring that women coordinators, committees and campaign structures work together toward achieving the campaign’s objectives.

Her responsibilities include supervising women’s campaign operations, coordinating campaign plans, advising on key political and organisational decisions, promoting unity within the women’s structure, and ensuring accountability and efficiency across the various levels of the organisation.

Congratulating the two appointees, Anyaso expressed confidence in their ability to discharge their responsibilities with integrity, diligence and excellence.

He said the appointments were part of efforts to build what he described as a disciplined, issue-driven and people-oriented campaign ahead of the 2027 election.
