Barr. Darlington Nnabuike Ozurumba has been named among 68 distinguished legal practitioners approved for conferment with the prestigious rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Nigeria’s highest professional honour in the legal profession.
The conferment ceremony is scheduled to take place on October 12, 2026, following the successful completion of the rigorous screening and selection process conducted by the Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee (LPPC).
The LPPC announced that the successful candidates emerged after satisfying the committee’s stringent requirements, which assess excellence in legal practice, professional integrity, advocacy, and contributions to the development of jurisprudence in Nigeria.
The rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria is conferred annually on outstanding legal practitioners and academics who have distinguished themselves through exceptional competence, ethical conduct, and dedication to the advancement of the legal profession.
Barr. Ozurumba’s elevation to the prestigious rank marks a significant milestone in his legal career and places him among the nation’s most accomplished members of the Bar.
