Senator Austin Akobundu’s solar-powered streetlight project continues to generate excitement across Abia Central Senatorial District as more communities benefit from the initiative.

The latest beneficiary is Eke Onu Amaedo, Amator Ukwu Autonomous Community in Osisioma Ngwa LGA. The community has taken on a new look, beautifully illuminated at night. Residents say they now feel safer, with previously dark spots now covered by the bright lights.

The people expressed appreciation to Senator Akobundu and pledged to protect the facilities from vandals. They noted that the project has given them a stronger sense of inclusion in governance and promised to support his political aspirations.

In his message to the community, Senator Akobundu, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate for Abia Central Senatorial District in the 2027 general elections, assured them that no part of the district would be left behind in his development drive.
