The South East Zonal Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has reached a consensus on its nominees for key positions in the party’s National Working Committee (NWC), reaffirming unity among leaders in the region.

Top on the list is the endorsement of Samuel Anyanwu, popularly known as Sam Daddy, as National Secretary, representing Imo State.
Other agreed nominees include:
- National Auditor: Okechukwu Osuoha (Abia State)
- Deputy National Publicity Secretary: Chidiebere Egwu (Ebonyi State)
- Deputy National Legal Adviser: Nominee yet to be disclosed (Anambra State)
- National Vice Chairman (South East): Ray Nnaji
The zonal committee stated that the consensus decision reflects growing unity, cooperation, and a shared commitment among South East PDP stakeholders to strengthen the party’s leadership structure at the national level.
Party leaders also reiterated their resolve to ensure effective representation of the zone while contributing to the stability and progress of the PDP across Nigeria.
