The Solidarity Movement has charged its members to intensify grassroots mobilisation and remain committed to supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Prince Paul Ikonne and Chief Samuel Okezie Nwogu ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The call was made during a meeting of the movement held in Uzuaku, Ipu South Ward, Ukwa West Local Government Area of Abia State, where members gathered to review their activities and strengthen their grassroots structure ahead of the elections.
Addressing the gathering, President of the Solidarity Movement, Hon. Innocent Chiuwa, charged members to remain committed and take the movement’s message to communities across Ukwa West.
Chiuwa said the meeting was also aimed at checking on members and assessing their preparedness to mobilise support for Tinubu, Prince Paul Ikonne and Nwogu ahead of the 2027 general election.
“We are here to check on our members and to check how prepared they are to deliver Tinubu, Ikonne and Sam Nwogu come 2027 general election. This structure is working for Tinubu, Ikonne and Sam Nwogu. Let’s go to our grassroots, mobilise and preach about Tinubu, Ikonne and Sam Nwog” Chiuwa said.
Also speaking, the Youth Coordinator of the Solidarity Movement, Comrade Uche Clemzor, expressed the commitment of the youth wing to supporting Tinubu, Prince Paul Ikonne and Nwogu ahead of the election.
The Women Leader of the movement, Mrs Ifeyinwa Okata, who spoke on behalf of the women, said the women in Ipu South Ward would mobilise support for Nwogu across the ward.
“We promise to deliver Sam Nwogu come 2027 election. We are going to ward by ward to preach to all our members that Sam Nwogu will secure victory in 2027” Okata said.
The Ipu South Coordinator of the movement, Pastor Emmanuel Olisa, appreciated members for their participation and support, while urging them to remain committed to strengthening the movement at the grassroots.
The meeting ended with prayers and renewed commitments from members to mobilise support for Tinubu, Prince Paul Ikonne, Nwogu and other candidates supported by the movement ahead of the 2027 general elections.
