A group of traders of Bende extraction based in Aba, Abia State, have declared their total support for Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso’s ambition to represent Bende Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The endorsement was made earlier today during a gathering held at the former Old Court Primary School, Aba.
Speaking on behalf of the traders, Sir Ikechukwu Uba the leader of the group described Dr. Anyaso as a worthy son of Bende who has consistently demonstrated love and commitment to the welfare of the people through empowerment programmes and educational initiatives.
According to him, Dr. Anyaso’s contributions towards the development of Bende communities have continued to impact lives positively both at home and in the diaspora.
“Ofuji, you have been a source of inspiration to ndi Bende. You have empowered many people, and your free education initiative in Bende is the first of its kind. Nobody has beaten that record. You have never turned your back on ndi Bende, and we will never turn our back on you,” he stated.
The group further assured the Labour Party candidate of their unwavering support, revealing that many members had transferred their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) back to Bende in preparation for the 2027 elections.
“We are declaring our total support for you. Ndi Bende has felt your impact outside government, and we want to experience it more when you are elected into office. We will support and send you to the House of Representatives,” the group leader added.
Responding, Dr. Chima Anyaso thanked the traders for the show of confidence and support, promising not to disappoint them if elected.
