Ugwunagbo Carnival 2025 Begins in 13 Days, Let the Countdown begin

Preparations are in top gear as Ugwunagbo Local Government Area counts down to the much-anticipated Ugwunagbo Carnival 2025, scheduled to hold from December 29 to 31, 2025.

With 13 days to go, excitement is steadily building across communities in the LGA and beyond, as residents and visitors look forward to three days of culture, colour, music, and celebration. The carnival, themed around unity, celebration, and prosperity, is expected to showcase the rich cultural heritage of the Ugwunagbo people through traditional dances, masquerade displays, music performances, fashion, and culinary exhibitions.

The event will take place at the Carnival Village, Ugwunagbo LGA Headquarters, which is currently being prepared to host thousands of participants, tourists, and dignitaries from different parts of the state and country.

Organisers say the 2025 edition promises to be bigger and more vibrant, serving not only as a cultural fiesta but also as a platform for promoting tourism, local businesses, and community cohesion within the area.

Residents have been encouraged to actively participate and extend warm hospitality to visitors, while youths and cultural troupes are gearing up for performances that will reflect the identity and history of Ugwunagbo.

Updates and activities ahead of the carnival can be followed on social media via @Ugwunagbocarnival across major platforms.
