The Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, has announced the dissolution of the Board of the Rivers State Microfinance Agency.

In a statement issued by the Head of Service, Dr. (Mrs.) Inyingi S. I. Brown, the Governor also approved the immediate appointment of Pastor Jonathan Tobin as the Acting Managing Director of the Agency.
The statement directed members of the dissolved Board to hand over all properties and assets in their possession to the new Acting Managing Director.
Governor Fubara assured that the Board will be reconstituted in due course.
