The attention of concerned stakeholders and Abia North APC members has been drawn to a misleading publication claiming that a so-called delegation of Abia North APC paid a courtesy visit to Senator Orji Uzor Kalu. This narrative is not only inaccurate but a deliberate misrepresentation of facts, and it must be corrected for the sake of truth and party unity.
First and foremost, those present on that visit were *NOT* a delegation of Abia North. It was *purely a private visit undertaken by Dr. Sam Anya* and a few associates. *At no point was the visit authorized, endorsed, or constituted as an official engagement representing Abia North.*
For clarity, key stakeholders who legitimately speak for Abia North were *NOT* part of that visit. Notably, all Abia north elected members in APC state executive committee including the zonal chairman were absent. Their absence alone clearly invalidates any claim that the visit was representative of Abia North delegates. You cannot convene a “zonal delegation” while excluding the very leadership that defines that zone.
*Secondly*, let it be clearly stated that Abia North comprises five local government areas:
Bende
Isuikwuato
Umunneochi
Ohafia
Arochukwu
Any legitimate Abia North delegation must reflect this structure and carry the consent or awareness of its recognized leaders. Anything short of this is, at best, a personal political move, not a collective mandate.
*Thirdly*, while we reaffirm, without ambiguity, that Senator Orji Uzor Kalu (OUK) remains our leader and the widely accepted candidate for the Abia North Senate, it is important to stress that Abia North Zonal leaders did *NOT*, at any time, pay him a visit in the company of any House of Representatives aspirant or candidate as being portrayed.
This distinction is critical. Leadership respect must not be exploited to create false political legitimacy.
We the elected APC party Executives from Abia north extraction urges the public and party faithfuls to disregard the misleading narrative being circulated. Political ambition is legitimate, but it must not be pursued through misrepresentation or the unauthorized use of Abia North’s collective identity.
Abia North stands for unity, order, and due process, not political theatrics disguised as delegation.
Thank you for paying attention to this matter.
Signed Abia north zonal executives.
