The Italian international has refused to sign a new contract, with no agreement in place. Sources indicate he will definitely leave the French champions — either this summer or when his current deal expires in 2026.

Those close to Donnarumma have described the club’s treatment as “unfair,” while tensions between the player and PSG have reportedly reached breaking point. The decision to leave him out of the Super Cup squad is seen as the final blow to an already fractured relationship.

It is understood that the Premier League is the most likely destination for the 25-year-old shot-stopper, with a move expected this summer or, at the latest, next year.
