The Chairman of Emohua Local Government Area, Sir Chidi Lloyd (DSSRS), on Tuesday joined the Governor of Rivers State, H.E. Sir Siminalayi Fubara (GSSRS), to inspect the resumption of work on the Emohua–Ogbakiri Road construction project being executed by the state government.

The project, handled by Julius Berger Nigeria Plc, had earlier been halted following the declaration of emergency rule in the state.
This development comes shortly after peace was restored between the Wike camp and the Fubara camp, signaling a renewed atmosphere of cooperation and progress in the state
