The Executive Chairman of Emohua Local Government Area, Dr. Chidi Lloyd, on Saturday paid a surprise visit to St. John’s Market, Rumuolumeni, where he met Mrs. Endurance Ihunwo — the woman whose viral video defending the FCT Minister, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, stirred nationwide attention on Friday.

Mrs. Ihunwo became an online sensation after a video emerged showing her passionately countering misinformation and expressing strong support for the FCT Minister.
During the visit, Dr. Lloyd commended her for what he described as “uncommon bravery and unwavering loyalty,” noting that her bold stance reflects the sentiments of many Rivers people.
“I came here myself because your courage deserves recognition. You stood fearlessly to defend the truth at a time many prefer silence,” he said, drawing applause from traders and residents.
In appreciation of her action, Dr. Lloyd announced that Mrs. Ihunwo will be relocated to a better and more convenient trading spot to support and improve her business.
Responding, a visibly surprised Mrs. Ihunwo expressed gratitude, saying her defense of Wike was driven by genuine admiration for his leadership and developmental impact.
