Abuja — The Joint Recruitment Exercise for the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), and Federal Fire Service has attracted a staggering 1,909,908 applications from across the country, with only 30,000 slots available.

Data released from the recruitment portal show that Kogi State recorded the highest number of applicants with 116,133, closely followed by Kaduna with 114,507, and Benue with 110,536. Kano had 89,362 applicants, while Niger and Kwara States recorded 79,510 and 78,423 applicants respectively.
