Chima Anyaso Foundation has announced plans to launch a cash support initiative targeted at women petty traders across the Bende Federal Constituency of Abia State.

The programme, titled OFUJI Bende Women Cash Support for Petty Traders, is aimed at empowering hardworking women who play a crucial role in sustaining the local economy. The initiative will provide direct financial assistance to petty traders to help them expand their businesses, support their families, and improve their livelihoods.
Organisers noted that the scheme aligns with their commitment to grassroots empowerment and inclusive economic growth, stressing that empowering women is key to fostering sustainable community development.
The cash support programme is scheduled to take place on Friday, February 6, 2026, at the OFUJI Resort, Onu Ibina, Igbere, Abia State, with activities commencing at 2:00 pm.
Beneficiaries and key stakeholders have been encouraged to attend the event, which is expected to mark another step toward promoting economic inclusion, dignity of labour, and community development within the constituency.
The announcement was issued by the Director-General of the Chima Anyaso Foundation (CAF).
