In a stirring February message released to the public, the Chairman of CAADES Group and founder of the Chima Anyaso Foundation emphasized that while Governor Alex Otti’s “exemplary works” deserve recognition, admiration alone is insufficient to guarantee political continuity.

Actions Speak Louder Than Posts.

Dr. Anyaso, a key figure in Abia’s political landscape, was candid about the limitations of public endorsements.

Referencing his recent participation in the Ukwa La Ngwa bloc’s reception and endorsement of Governor Otti for a second term, he noted that such gatherings are symbolic rather than decisive.

> “Such gatherings and big statements alone do not win elections; it is indeed the PVCs that do,” Anyaso stated. “Faith without works is dead.”

His message serves as a strategic “clarion call” to the electorate, reminding them that the Permanent Voter Card (PVC) remains the only valid instrument for expressing political will.

He encouraged those who have not yet registered to take advantage of the ongoing continuous registration process.

The Power of the “Ofuji Movement”

Anyaso’s influence carries significant weight in the region. As the leader of the Ofuji Movement, he commands one of Abia State’s most formidable political structures, featuring 18-man ward executives across every ward in the state.

By mobilizing his “PVC-carrying members,” Anyaso is positioning his movement as a cornerstone of support for the Governor’s agenda, framed under the mantra: “We shall never go back… every step we take is Forward Ever.”

A Message of Civic Love

Beyond the political directive, Anyaso’s address maintained a tone of communal warmth, marking the start of February as a month for “exchanging love and joy.” He urged citizens to remain productive and impactful in their daily pursuits while never losing sight of their civic responsibilities.

“Life appears seamless as we engage in our daily pursuits… let us continue to share love and joy together,” he concluded.
