The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFiB) has announced the closure of the window for shortlisted candidates in its ongoing recruitment exercise.

In an update shared via its official X (formerly Twitter) handle, @CDCFIBNG, the board confirmed that the next phase of the recruitment process — an online Computer-Based Test (CBT) — will commence on 12th November, 2025.
The statement reads:
“The CDCFIB Shortlisted Candidates Window is now closed.
🖥️ The online Computer-Based Test (CBT) for shortlisted candidates begins on 12th November, 2025.”
Candidates who have been shortlisted are advised to prepare adequately for the test and stay updated through official CDCFiB communication channels to avoid missing further instructions.
The CDCFiB oversees the recruitment of personnel for the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), and the Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS).
