Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State has commended Mr. Abasiakan Paddy Udosen, Supervisor for Youths and Sports in Abak Local Government Area, for his humanitarian gesture in constructing and donating residential flats to two indigent women in his community.

In a Letter of Commendation personally signed by the Governor and shared on the official Facebook handle of his Chief Press Secretary, Ekerete Udoh, Governor Eno described the act as a remarkable display of compassion and love.

According to the letter, Mr. Udosen used his personal earnings to build and hand over a two-bedroom flat and a one-bedroom flat to the beneficiaries, both residents of Afaha Obong in Abak.

Quoting from the Bible, Proverbs 19:17, the Governor said: “He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the Lord, and that which he hath given will we repay him again.”

Governor Eno expressed hope that the selfless gesture would inspire others, noting that acts of kindness are not defined by wealth but by love, faith, and shared humanity.

“I want to commend you deeply for this show of love,” the Governor wrote, adding that he looked forward to receiving Mr. Udosen to officially appreciate him for the gesture.
