Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has expressed deep appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his timely intervention and dedication in ensuring the restoration of peace and stability in the state.

In a state wide Broadcast, Governor Fubara also commended the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, CON, for his commitment to the prompt resolution of the political impasse that recently rocked the state.
He further extended his gratitude to the President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio; the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr. Abbas Tajudeen; as well as members of the National Assembly for their roles in resolving the crisis.
Governor Fubara equally thanked the Speaker and members of the Rivers State House of Assembly, respected elders, stakeholders, and concerned citizens for working together to resolve differences and restore peace and harmony across the state.
