The Ebonyi State Government has released the official schedule for individuals, groups, and organizations wishing to pay the traditional Christmas and New Year homage to the Governor, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, and his wife, Chief (Mrs.) Mary-Maudline Nwifuru.

According to a public service announcement issued on November 28, 2025, by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Dr. Monday Uzor, the Governor and the First Lady will receive guests from December 27 to December 31, 2025, and will continue from January 2 to January 6, 2026, at the Governor’s Country Home in Oferekpe-Agbaja, Izzi Local Government Area. All visits will commence daily at 10:00 a.m.
The government advised individuals or groups intending to pay homage to the First Family to submit a formal written application. Submissions are to be made to the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on State Affairs, Mr. Austin Udude, at the Protocol Unit, Old Government House, Abakaliki, on or before December 15, 2025.
