A 26-year-old woman, Comfort Bob, has been arraigned before an Ikeja Magistrate Court over alleged unruly behavior and assault aboard an Ibom Air flight at Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal Two (MMA2), Lagos.

According to the charge sheet filed by the police, the incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. on August 10, 2025, when Bob allegedly shouted at the top of her voice, abused and assaulted members of the flight crew, and refused to disembark after landing.
She is further accused of slapping one passenger, Juliana Edward, and hitting another, Jokpame Sagun, with her slippers. The prosecution also alleged that Bob willfully damaged an aircraft divider curtain valued at $2,500, belonging to Ibom Airline, as well as tearing a braided wig worth ₦110,000 belonging to one of the passengers.
The offences, police say, contravene sections 4(1)(a) of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) Bye-Law 2005 and sections 170, 172, and 350 of the Lagos State Criminal Law, 2015.
The case, prosecuted by Inspector Ojonjoku Paschal of the International Airport Division, Ikeja, was brought before the court for arraignment, with further hearing scheduled for a later date.
