The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has issued an important update to all candidates participating in its ongoing recruitment exercise, reaffirming its commitment to a transparent, seamless, and completely free process.

In a press release signed by Okeh Juliet, Head of Press and Public Relations, the Board emphasized that no applicant is required to make any financial payment or disclose banking details at any stage of the recruitment process.

“CDCFIB remains firmly committed to fairness, integrity, and accountability throughout every stage of the recruitment process,” the statement read. “At no point will any applicant be asked to pay a fee or make any financial contribution to advance in the recruitment.”

Applicants were also warned to beware of fraudsters who may attempt to exploit job seekers through false claims or financial demands. The Board urged candidates to rely only on official CDCFIB communication channels for authentic updates, noting that details of the next stages of the exercise will be announced soon.

The Board reiterated its mission to attract the best-qualified candidates for Nigeria’s paramilitary services while safeguarding applicants from scams and fraudulent activities.

All candidates are encouraged to stay informed, remain vigilant, and promptly report any suspicious activity or demand for payment to the nearest security agency.
