Abuja, November 6, 2025 — The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has issued a public disclaimer warning Nigerians to disregard any list of shortlisted candidates circulating online in relation to its ongoing recruitment exercise.

In a statement signed by Mrs. Okeh Juliet, Head of Press and Public Relations, on behalf of the Secretary to the Board, CDCFIB emphasized that it has not authorized or contracted any individual or organization to publish or circulate any list of shortlisted candidates.

The Board cautioned that only information released through its official communication channels should be considered authentic. The verified channels include:

“The public is hereby advised to disregard any information or publication not sourced from the Board’s official channels listed above as it would not be responsible for any consequence(s) arising from reliance on unauthorized channels,” the statement read.

The CDCFIB reiterated its commitment to transparency and fairness in its recruitment process and urged applicants to stay updated only through the official platforms.
