Former Governor of Jigawa State, Sule Lamido, has threatened to take legal action against the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) if he is denied the opportunity to obtain the nomination form to contest for the position of National Chairman.

Lamido, who officially declared his intention to vie for the chairmanship position on Monday, visited the PDP National Secretariat in Abuja to purchase his nomination form. However, he expressed frustration after discovering that the Office of the National Organising Secretary, which is responsible for selling the forms, was locked.

The former governor described the situation as an attempt to frustrate his ambition and warned that he would not hesitate to seek redress in court should the party leadership continue to block his access to the form.
