President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has accepted the resignation of Geoffrey Uche Nnaji, the Minister of Innovation, Science, and Technology, following allegations leveled against him.

Nnaji, who was appointed to the Federal Executive Council in August 2023, tendered his resignation on Tuesday in a letter expressing gratitude to the President for the opportunity to serve the nation.
In his resignation letter, the former minister stated that he had become a target of blackmail by political opponents.
President Tinubu, while accepting the resignation, appreciated Nnaji’s contributions to the administration and wished him success in his future endeavours.
