At an emergency stakeholders’ meeting convened last night at the Bauchi State Governor’s Lodge, Asokoro, Abuja, the Damagum-led faction and other party leaders declared the dates “sacrosanct,” insisting there would be no shift in the convention timetable.

The meeting drew wide attendance, including members of the National Working Committee (NWC), serving and former governors, members of the National Assembly, Board of Trustees (BOT) members, and state chairmen of the party.
