Citing fears of a potentially failed convention—an outcome that could jeopardize the PDP’s ability to field candidates nationwide—the committee has proposed the immediate formation of a Caretaker Committee (CTC) to stabilise the party and oversee pending processes.
The report further urges an urgent return to the status quo ante, including the lifting of all suspensions issued by opposing factions. It also calls for all stakeholders to be brought together for genuine reconciliation to prevent further destabilisation within the party.
