The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has released the revised and updated list of members appointed into the 2025 National Convention Organizing Committee (Main Committee) ahead of its Elective National Convention scheduled to hold from Saturday, November 15 to Sunday, November 16, 2025, in Ibadan, Oyo State.

According to the statement signed by the PDP National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Debo Ologunagba, the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) approved the appointments in preparation for the convention.

The committee will be chaired by Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, Governor of Adamawa State, with Sen. Adolphus Wabara, PDP Board of Trustees (BoT) Chairman, serving as co-chairman.

Prominent political figures on the list include: Former Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu Former Enugu State Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Former Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, Sen. Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, Prof. Adewale Oladipo, Senator. Bala Mohammed, Hon. Ndudi Elumelu.

The committee also features former ministers, senators, members of the House of Representatives, and other notable party stakeholders across Nigeria.

The PDP stated that the list of other committees for the convention will be published in due course.

This development signals the party’s readiness to organize a hitch-free elective convention as it positions itself ahead of the 2027 general elections.
