The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) faction loyal to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has announced March 28 and 29, 2026, as the dates for its elective National Convention.

The decision was reached during the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting held on Saturday in Abuja.
Party officials said the convention will focus on electing new members into key national leadership positions as part of efforts to reposition the party ahead of future political engagements.
