The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has formally received the resolution of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Working Committee (NWC) suspending four of its top national officers.

Those affected include the National Secretary, Senator Samuel Anyanwu; the National Organising Secretary, Captain Umar Bature; the National Legal Adviser, Kamaldeen Ajibade (SAN); and his Deputy, Okechukwu Osuoha.
It will be recalled that the PDP NWC, at its meeting held on November 1, 2025, resolved to suspend the four officers over allegations of anti-party activities and gross misconduct.
INEC’s acknowledgment of the resolution officially confirms receipt of the party’s decision, marking another significant development in the unfolding internal crisis within the PDP.
