The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Abia State Chapter, has approved the appointment of Chief Jude Udeachara as the new substantive Publicity Secretary of the party in the state.
The decision was taken at a duly convened meeting of the State Working Committee (SWC) of the party, marking the end of the tenure of the former Publicity Secretary, Eric Ikwuagwu.

In a letter of appointment dated January 26, 2026, and signed by the State Chairman of the party, Elder Abraham Amah, the SWC described Chief Udeachara as a loyal and committed party chieftain whose contributions have significantly impacted the growth and development of the PDP in Abia State, particularly in Isikwuato Local Government Area.
The party expressed confidence that Chief Udeachara will bring clarity, discipline, and strategic direction to the party’s communication architecture, while effectively projecting the ideals, programmes, and positions of the PDP to the public.
The State Working Committee congratulated him on the appointment and wished him a successful tenure as the Chief Spokesman of the Peoples Democratic Party in Abia State.
