The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced that the online Computer-Based Test (CBT) for shortlisted candidates in its ongoing recruitment exercise will commence tomorrow, Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 9:00 a.m.

According to a statement signed by Maj. Gen. (Rtd) A. M. Jibril, Secretary of the Board, only candidates who have been officially scheduled will be allowed to log in for the examination.

Candidates are required to access the test through the official recruitment portal at

The portal will open 30 minutes before each scheduled exam session to allow participants to complete photo verification and enter the virtual waiting room.

The CBT will be AI-proctored to monitor and prevent malpractice, third-party interference, or device manipulation. Applicants are advised to use a stable internet connection and a reliable device—preferably a laptop—as interruptions from calls or app switching on mobile devices could lead to automatic disqualification.

Those who experience disconnections during the test will be able to rejoin and continue within the allotted time frame.

The CDCFIB wished all candidates success in the examination.
