Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has announced he will boycott the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Convention being organised by Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde.

Governor Fubara’s decision places him alongside other prominent PDP figures who have also opted out of the event, including the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, former Senate President Bukola Saraki, and former Jigawa State Governor Sule Lamido.
Sources close to the Wike camp have described the upcoming convention as an “early Christmas party,” suggesting internal disagreements over the motive and timing of the gathering.
