Governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, has approved the appointment of Hon. Benibo Anabraba as the new Secretary to the State Government (SSG), following the removal of Dr. Tammy Danagogo from the position.

According to a government announcement signed by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Communications, Dr. Honour Kuru Sirawoo, the swearing-in ceremony will take place on Monday, October 13, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. in the State Executive Council Chambers, Government House, Port Harcourt.
Guests invited for the occasion are expected to be seated by 3:30 p.m.
